Quick answer
Everything on AirQualityCalc is researched general information and arithmetic you can check, provided as is. It is not professional advice, and it is not medical advice.
What this site is
A set of calculators and reference pages about indoor air quality equipment. The arithmetic is published on each page so you can check it. The published standards it refers to, including the AHAM AC-1 test method and ASHRAE 52.2, belong to the bodies that publish them and are described here in our own words.
What it is not
It is not professional advice and it is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor about asthma or allergy symptoms, and to a qualified contractor about your building. Sizing guidance here is general: a real room has a real ceiling, real doors and a real ventilation rate, and only somebody looking at it can account for all three.
Accuracy
We work from published specifications, published standards and real product listings, and we check the arithmetic. Specifications change, prices change, and listings get edited by their sellers. Verify anything that matters against the listing and the manual before you buy.
Liability
The site is provided as is, without warranty. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of what is published here. If you find something wrong, the contact page is the fastest way to get it fixed.
